Announces that 3 954 places on the new Construction and the Built Environment Diploma will be available for 14 to 19 year olds, from September 2008. The diploma has been developed with some of the construction industry's leading employers including AMEC and Mitie, and will combine practical skill development with theoretical and technical knowledge. So far, 44 groups of schools, colleges, training providers and employers are set to offer places on the Construction and the Built Environment Diploma course.
