Investigation exposes land sales scam [electronic resource]

Reports how a company marketing plots of land on behalf of a land bank business has been wound up after an investigation by the Companies Investigation Branch of the Insolvency Service. The investigation found that the company, Actionjack, had been offering investment advice to the public despite its sales staff having had no previous experience or qualifications to advise on purchasing land as an investment. Also found that the company?s promotional literature had made some very dubious claims.
