In the past many investors have overlooked the potential of ground rent investments, believing that they would not offer a reasonable return until the lease expires possibly more than a century after the investment has been purchased. Argues that the number of ground rent buyers purchasing at auction is on the increase, with a number of larger investors recognising that by understanding their active management potential, large returns are more than possible.
