Discusses major forthcoming changes in the conveyancing market which may lead to a reduction in the time and costs associated with house selling. HIPs come into force on 1 June 2007 and are creating a new market among estate agents and investors. Speed and efficiency of service will be key to this new market. The Legal Services Bill, expected in 2008, is aimed at making legal services easier and quicker to obtain. The government's plan for e-conveyancing also promises greater access to information for investors.
