Mainly for Students article addresses the concept of wayleaves. Makes specific reference to the electricity industry. Explains that infrastructure is placed upon land under a simple wayleave agreement. A fee is paid which grants immunity from trespass laws. A full understanding of this archaic area of law is important in order to apply beneficial solutions.
