Looks at the recently launched UK Microgeneration Certification Scheme, which is administered by BRE Certification. The scheme is part of government's strategy to reduce carbon emissions and provides robust third party certification of microgeneration products and installers, a code of practice, reasonable measures of expected energy generation and safe installations. Article also explains the different microgeneration technologies and integration/installation issues.
