Reports that construction materials prices continue to increase strongly, while mechanical and electrical prices ease, although this slowdown is unlikely to last. World steel prices have been rising since the start of 2006, with prices in Europe up by 50% over the past 16 months. In terms of wage awards, most workers are likely to get 3.5-4.5% rises.
