Balfour Beatty topped the new work winners monthly league table for June 2007, with Kier in second place and Laing O'Rourke in third. Balfour Beatty remained at the top of the new work winners table for the past 12 months. Total construction orders increased to £2.86bn in June, driven by other public non-housing work, as well as healthy orders in the civils and private commercial sectors.
