The ICE salary survey 2006-07 shows that engineers are experiencing sound pay rises, with the average basic salary for engineers at £44 250 and the average total income at £48 180, up 12% from two years ago. The survey also reveals high levels of job satisfaction, with 70% of respondents happy with their employer and the variety of work. Tables show change in salary between 2004 and 2007 by level of responsibility, membership grade, field of work, and region.
