In the 12 months to July 2007, orders increased by 3% compared with the previous 12 months, but in the three months to July 2007, orders dropped by 4% compared to the same period in 2006. Orders in the three months to July 2007 were the same as the previous three months, with rises in public non-housing, infrastructure and public housing counterbalanced by decreases in private industrial, private housing and private commercial sectors.
