Reports that orders in the year to August 2007 rose 2% compared with the previous twelve months. However, orders in the three months to August 2007 fell by 3% compared with the three months to August 2006. The fall was by 8% compared to the three months to May 2007. There were decreases in the public housing, private housing and private commercial sectors. These easily outstripped a rise in the private industrial sectors.
