Reports construction activity increased in the first six months of 2007, with the value of activity 3% higher between January and June 2007 than it was to June 2006. This is partly due to strong office and retail sectors, which contributed to a 14% increase in commercial construction activity. Suggests that the tightening credit market is not likely to destabilise the industry's growth.
