Finds that the number of site visitors and net reservations were significantly lower than those in September 2006. Visitor and reservation numbers both fell from their August 2007 levels. Industry optimism over new home sales growth also declined. New home prices fell, and it was found that a quarter of house builders expect prices to fall over the next year. House builders are showing increased concern over buyer confidence, as well as mortgage rates and terms. Planning delays remain the biggest constraint on production.
