Research by the CIC reveals 70% of Construction Professional Services (CPS) firms (which include surveying firms) feel that a lack of recruits is the key problem facing the industry. In addition, 74% of CPS firms have revealed that job applicants are unlikely to have the vital technical skills and over half of CPS firms expect recruitment difficulties over the next year with student numbers on built environment courses falling.
