Considers implications of the ruling made in the case of Lawntown Ltd v Mr and Mrs Camenzuli (L140998). Developers are able to overcome restrictive covenants to convert single properties into multiple units. Under section 84 of the Law of Property Act 1925, an application needs to be made to the Lands Tribunal. Provides an overview of the specific conditions which need to be met. Alternatively, an application can be made under section 610 of the Housing Act 1985. Also provides an overview of this section's conditions.
