Considers the effects of the case of Anderson Antiques (UK) Ltd v Anderson Wharf (Hull) Ltd and Akrill (L142332). The case demonstrates that by seeking vacation of unilateral notice a in response to a breach of the Land Registration Act 2007 s77, substantially wider relief may be obtained. It also opens the possibility of imposing liability on both a defendant company and its director. Warns that this faces both companies and directors with more serious repercussions in cases where unilateral notices are registered against a title to development land. Case law.
