Examines the case of Belfields and others V Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government and another. The case showed that the need to regenerate an area is sufficient to warrant interference with the rights of property owners. A Compulsory Purchase Order was upheld despite objections based on procedure, application of the correct test, and human rights.
