Finds that in February 2008, site visitors and net reservations were both lower than a year previous. The balance reporting lower reservations worsened. The balance of house builders reporting a seasonal rise in visitors since January was stronger than the balance reporting an upturn in reservations. Suggests that this may reflect difficulties in obtaining mortgages. Net new home prices continued to decline. A balance of 6% of house builders expected to increase new home sales in 2008.
