Reveals that seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector increased by 1.6% in the euro area and by 0.6% in the EU27 in January 2008, compared to December 2007. Compared to January 2007, output in January 2008 rose by 1.6% in the euro area and by 0.7% in the EU27. Tables show monthly, quarterly, and annual variation in construction output and monthly and quarterly production indices for total construction for individual member states.
