Reports on recent signals from the housing and housebuilding markets that developers are building fewer homes. According to the RTPI, land supply has not changed but finance for new developments is not forthcoming. Raises concerns that building companies are less likely to prioritise affordable housing schemes. Notes that mortgage products are offering less finance.
