Comes into force 27 June 2008. Makes amendments to the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004. Increases the duties of submissions to include community consultation and public participation. Alters the rules concerning the timing and submission of local development schemes. Adds police authorities to the list of relevant concerned authorities. Instates the Secretary of State for Transport, and Primary Care Trusts, the Coal Authority, and Natural England as specific consultation bodies.
