The Experian Business Strategies' "Focus survey of construction activity" of July 2008 reveals that most industry sectors remained at the same level during the month, with some regions in a relatively good position while others are severely affected. Predicts a slow rise to construction activity in August and September 2008. The non-residential sector was the strongest in July. Explains that the situation is more difficult for the civil engineering and the residential sectors. Regional results were mixed, with East Anglia's index the strongest. Scotland and the North-east's index were second. Shows the regional performances.
