Reveals that seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector increased by 0.2% in the euro area and by 0.3% in the EU27 in May 2008, compared to April 2008. Compared to May 2007, output in May 2008 dropped by 1.1% in the euro area, but increased by 0.7% in the EU27. Tables show monthly, quarterly, and annual variation in construction output. Other tables present monthly and quarterly production indices for total construction for individual member states.
