Reports that the building cost index and the electrical cost index continue to rise faster than the consumer price index when comparing the second quarter 2008 with the second quarter 2007. The mechanical cost index declined to 3.5%, its lowest level since the end of 2003. Construction material price inflation increased faster in the second quarter of 2008. Construction wages in June are slighter higher than the year before.
