Official letter from the RICS to the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer in response to the UK Pre-Budget Report. Broadly welcomes the report and says that measures contained within it will provide some much needed support for the UK economy, in particular the construction sector. However, expresses some concern over the economic assumptions built into the report which would seem to be a little optimistic.
