Reveals that seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector decreased by 1.3% in the euro area and by 1.5% in the EU27 in September 2008, compared to August 2008. Compared to September 2007, output in September 2008 fell by 3.8% in the euro area, and by 3.1% in the EU27. Tables show monthly, quarterly, and annual variation in construction output. Other tables present monthly and quarterly production indices for total construction for individual member states.
