The Scottish Government has announced the lastest phase of accelerated funding aimed at speeding up the provision of affordable housing and assisting the construction sector in the current economic downturn. The £17m funding will allow housing associations to buy unsold stock from private developers and enable projects to start earlier than would otherwise be the case.
