Reveals that seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector decreased by 2.2% in the euro area and by 1.7% in the EU27 in December 2008, compared to November 2008. Compared to December 2007, output fell by 10.1% in the euro area, and by 6.7% in the EU27 in December 2008. Tables show monthly, quarterly, and annual variation in construction output. Other tables present monthly and quarterly production indices for total construction for individual member states.
