Planning section 43 finally puts an end to twin-tracking - 2009 - Property Week 75(11) 13 March 2009, 83(1) .
Reveals that legislation which comes into force on 6 April 2009 will give local planning authorities powers to refuse to accept 'twin-tracked' planning applications. Comments that the legislation is designed to discourage repeat applications, but that the government needs to address the root problems that have led to delays and uncertainty in the planning process and encouraged the use of 'twin-tracking'.
