Reveals that seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector decreased by 0.1% in the euro area and by 2.1% in the EU27 in March 2009, compared to Feburary 2009. Compared with March 2008, output fell by 8.7% in the euro area, and by 10.5% in the EU27 in March 2009. Tables show monthly, quarterly, and annual variation in construction output. Other tables present monthly and quarterly production indices for total construction for individual member states.
