Focus survey of construction activity in June 2009 shows activity continuing to rise although it still remained in negative territory at 44. Many of the sectors reported mixed performances with the residential sector being the only area to see a rise in its activity index. 52% of firms cited weak demand as a constraining factor on activity and order books for the construction industry remained below average.
