Reveals that seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector decreased by 0.4% in the euro area and by 0.5% in the EU27 in August 2009, compared to July 2009. Compared to August 2008, output fell by 11.3% in the euro area, and by 11.1% in the EU27 in August 2009. Tables show monthly, quarterly, and annual variation in construction output. Other tables present monthly and quarterly production indices for total construction for individual member states.
