Milan's office market may suffer oversupply as tenant demand lessens as companies cut cost but foreign firms may ameliorate the situation. The outlook for Milan's retail property sector is healthier than for offices and that is also the case nationally. Rome's office market has seen little investment activity this year. Italian property funds have remained solvent as they have in general avoided over-leveraging.
