The latest Aggregate Estimates for Total Income from Farming, and Estimates of Average Net Farm Income have been published, covering 2009 and 2008/9 respectively. The figures suggest that income from farming decreased by £20m in 2009 to £589m, a fall of 2.6% in real terms over the previous year.
