Valuation Tribunal for England took over responsibility for rating and council tax appeals from 1 October 2009 from 56 local tribunals. Valuation Tribunal President Professor Graham Zellick has set up the Valuation Tribunal Users' Group made up of representatives of RICS, Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation, Rating Surveyors' Association, Valuation Office Agency to review draft practice standards.
