Reports that almost a quarter of construction sites visited by the Health and Safety Executive during March failed safety checks. 2014 sites were visited in total, with 691 enforcement notices being issued at 470 sites, mainly relating to unsafe working at height. Work was ordered to be stopped immediately in 359 cases.
