Guidance on the duty to appoint and instruct a suitably qualified valuer to determine the value of best consideration for land. Also discusses the factors which should be taken into account, or not, in undertaking that valuation. This Statutory Guidance is issued under the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 S74, as amended by the Local Government in Scotland Act 2003 S11.
