Housing Minister Grant Shapps in his speech to the Chartered Institute of Housing Annual Conference in June 2010 announced a review of the role and purpose of the Tenants Services Authority in regulating social housing. Conservative Liberal Coalition Government intends to retain the Homes and Communities Agency which will be reduced in size and its functions delivered under local leadership. Government is looking at Tenants Panels for dealing with tenants' complaints.
