Building Regulations the new energy-efficiency requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations come into force on 1 October - 2010 - Architects Journal 232(1) 1 July 2010, 35-38(4) .
Changes take effect on 1 October 2010 for any project that has not submitted a Building Regulations application before that date, and will apply retrospectively to any project that has not commenced before 1 October 2011; includes graph showing zero carbon and time limit for new legislation; tables of limiting fabric parameters.
