Bloomberg seems to have settled on Legal and General Property's 1m sq ft Walbrook Square site for its new City headquarters. Newham's regeneration chief outlines his hopes for Docklands, in particular the Royal Docks area and London's first cable car. Development is at a 20-year low as supply in the Square Mile diminishes - in 2011 there will just two new buildings to satisfy any occupier demand. Proposed new banking regulations are causing concern among banks with extensive UK HQ property exposure.
