Plans for new Public Data Corporation outlined by Minister for the Cabinet Office, Francis Maude and Business Minister Edward Davey. This will bring together government bodies and data into one organisation and provide a level of easily accessible public information. An interesting example of the way public sector information can be used is airTEXT which is an air quality information service which provides alerts for people who live or work in London and who suffer from asthma or other related conditions.
