Million pound home sales rise at fastest rate since 2006 [electronic resource]

The number of million pound property sales in 2010 in the UK increased at the fastest rate since 2006, a total of 7 185 outpeforming all other sectors of the UK residential market. London and South East accounts for 83% of sales in 2010 with West Midlands showing signs of substantial growth. Multi-million property sales in 2010 also increased. Tracks all residential property sales of at least £1 million in Great Britain using data from the HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland.
