Depressing economic news may disrupt office development plans and rental prospects in London over the next few years. Signs of slowdown in the London office market with fewer transactions so far in 2011 than in 2010: 305 deals of over 5000 sq ft in H1 2011 compared to 400 deals in H1 2010. Apollo Business Research however expects the total number of office requirements in central London to continue to rise and construction levels to continue to grow albeit more slowly.
