The Local Data Company's analysis of 79 570 shop premises in 329 UK retail centres showed at 12.4% an improvement in Q3 2011 over the current national shop vacancy rate of 14.3%, helping to reduce the national vacancy rate by 0.2% since the beginning of 2011. The market trend is towards more vacancies in secondary centres and on the fringes of the larger centres. Tables cover the five worst and best centres, worst and best 12-month change, and the most and least churn.
