Helical Bar plans to redevelop a 2.3 acre site on the western side of the City. Purchased with US money manager Baupost from the Barts and NHS Trust for £55m with £35m future payments, the project will be one of the largest regenerations in the City in the past 20 years. Helical has produced plans with architect Sheppard Robson for a mixed-use scheme comprising 225 flats, 230 000 sq ft of offices and 27 000 sq ft of shops.
