National Audit Office looks at the role of the Department for Communities and Local Government, Tenant Services Authority and Homes and Communities Agency in relation to the financial viability of social housing providers participating in the Affordable Homes Programme. The examination will determine whether the Homes and Communities Agency and Tenant Services Authority are effectively addressing risks to the financial viability of the social housing sector, while optimising taxpayer interests. Report is due to be published Spring 2012.
