Home reports unpopular with sellers sounds familiar? [electronic resource]

Research carried out by the Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre suggests that 65% sellers believe that Home Reports are not helpful. Buyers are still carrying out their own surveys, despite one being included in the Home Report, either because they do not trust the seller's survey or because, in a slow market, lenders consider the survey to be out of date and ask for a new one to be carried out.
