The Property Banking Forum is predicting in its "Lending Intentions Survey 2012", based on returns from 34 institutions, £33bn property lending in 2012, a significant increase on new lending for 2011. The survey highlights the changing profile of UK lenders: insurance companies will account for 20% of property lending, up from 11% in 2011. Refers to the De Montfort survey for the first half of 2011 and Savill's recent revision of its active UK lenders' list.
