Central Square, the renamed Lumiere development site in Leeds, will be relaunched as an office-led scheme. Land Securities' Trinity Leeds scheme, the only large shopping centre in Europe due for completion in 2013, is already two-thirds let. Sheffield-based Blenheim Developments has bought the former Yorkshire Chemicals site in Leeds from Gladedale Group for £3m. "Arena Quarter"is taking shape around the new Leeds Arena 13 500 capacity music venue due to open in summer 2013. Yorkshire is pinning its industrial hopes on distribution. It is probably the last region with a choice of large-scale warehouse buildings.
