Commercial real estate faces a Euros 400 bn to 700bn financing gap mainly from bank deleveraging. Morgan Stanley estimates that banks are poised to reduce their exposure by Euros 300bn-600bn or 12%-25%. Up to Euros 150bn of this is cross-border.
